it really would be easier watching the film though - it brilliant.
anyway, so the fight club had been going on for a while and they start moving people into their house. but to get into the house they have to stand on its porch for 3 days without food, encouragement, sleep probably before they can enter. they also get shouted at.
watch it.

I have seen it, it just didn't make much sense to me, and it was along time ago.
But the thread 'porch' makes a lot more sense now.
