This might be an old issue.

When i log into rhp with firefox it doesn't work. Is there any easy fix to this?

I can only view things....i can't post or play any games.

Very probably. But "it doesn't work" is a little vague. I mean, is your monitor on? PC plugged in?

I log in but don't actually get loggged in. I hit "Log IN" and then click, FORUMS but it just takes me to the same page you would see if you werern't logged in.

Same happens if I click MY HOME or any other tab.

It's read only access.

Clear your cache first.
Tools ->Options -> Advanced ->Clear Cache

If that doesn't work, then we can look further....

Firefox is standards compliant. IE isn't. So IE cookies don't work in FF.

Clear your RHP cookies from IE, and then do the same in FF. Should be fine then. If not, then clear all private data from both.

I didn't have to do any of that 😕

Maybe FF just like me better than him 😏

A FireFox vs Explorer question:

Is it possible to use FF sometimes and use IE sometimes on the same computer? Are the cookies the same? (I don't think so.) Will this be of any problem?

I experience that if I have used RHP on another computer, I have to log in again with password and all. (Yes, I do use the higher security: "Enable multiple browsers to be logged into the same account" - non-checked). Do I have to do this too, when I switch from FF to IE and back on the same computer?

Is it of any problem to have the two browsers active at the same time? Or do I realy have to shut down IE when I use FF and vice versa?

Please, those of you who want to make fun of me because I've earlier religiously refused to install FF in my computer, times are achanging, plese don't give comments that will not help me here...

While compiling a detail answer to your questions, I'd just like to ask whether FF has enhanced your browsing experience or not.

There seems to be a few ignorant nihilists and I wont mention their names though FabianFnas should watch out. Firefox works on this site without any problems at all.

Having Firefox is safer than Internet Explorer because you are not attacked so much on the internet. Spyware, viruses, phishing attacks all target IE. Firefox and Internet Explorer coexist well on all computers. Just like Media Player and Real Player.

The coexistence question is so ridiculous like someone who asks whether he plays on RHP and it will affect another site.

I use IE for forum browsing and FF for game play, for reasons beyond the scope of this answer. Both are open at the same time.

Sometimes (it's never happened to me), the cookies will get jumbled up, and you'll need to do what I reccommended uzless to do.

Re multiple browsers. I would guess yes, but with a little experimentation yourself, you could answer your own question.
