You should learn to relax a little, buddy. I suggest yoga.

You must admit though? IE is set up directly for windows as its server. FF is not, and doesn't perform in the same manner using windows. I like both, but FF isn't a part of microsoft's tenacity of keeping a hold on the whole search issue, and doesn't respond in a manner easy for a non compu buff?
The status quo is not always the best.

Sure, it's easy to just use IE, but once you point out it's flaws and the useful features FireFox gives to people, they come around pretty quickly, no matter their level of computer literacy.

I'm not sure what you mean by the 'search issue'? Don't we all use Google?

I missed your link to the Swedish version (probably because you posted it while I was writing a post, and I didn't check for posts written while I was writing). I assumed Fabian would be able to find it himself if he wanted it. (By the way, he's still using IE, so clicking with his mouse wouldn't help. 😉)

In which way do you find Firefox more difficult to use? I am not a computer buff, but I find it very easy to use.

Do we all use google? U never use alltheweb, Yahoo, AOL, hotbot?

I change sometimes, and often find more things of interest instead of the google/microsoft controlled markets....

Not difficult to use in the sense of clicking icons. But, as Rag suggested, cleaning up and cookie conflictions etc is much more of a chore! Well, than may depend upon where you use it, I guess...

The only one you list that I know about is Yahoo, the others I didn't know existed 😕
Google has always just worked, so why would I change?

I'm apparently not as paranoid as you.
Google created an awesome product, so why would I use other search engines I consider to be inferior just because Google is building a type of monopoly?

Paraniod am I?

No, just open to more offers - which is never a bad thing.

Why do you argue for firefox if IE was never considered to be inferior?? 😛😛

Touchè.
Although I have tried to get away from IE for ages, probably more than 10 years now, starting with the Mozilla suite and Opera as well.
FireFox just kicked all their asses out the park.

Some of you are going overboard. Firefox has nothing to do with Google. It is just a browser. Different search engines can be accessed by any browser like IE, FF , Opera.

I suspect that uzless who started the thread was being mischievous.

From mozilla.org...
"New features in Firefox 0.9 include:

* Easy migration: Switching to Firefox has never been easier now that Firefox imports data like Favorites, history, settings, cookies and passwords from Internet Explorer."

Apology accepted.
