In fact my phobia for snakes is pretty unhealthy and embarrassing. I've hurt myself trying to get away from even a non lethal docile one more than once. Oh well. 😕
Yep, that's what she is...a Chilean Rose. My first one was a Pink Toe. All black with pink feet.i

Story a few years ago in Sydney:
The Sydney Funnelweb loves to crawl into makeshift homes over night to keep warm, so leaving shoes and coats outside over night is not advised. Some guy left his coat out, didn't check it, put one arm in a sleeve and got bitten 17 times!! Supposedly an excruiating bite and plenty of venom in a single bite to be fatal (if untreated).
Redbacks on the other hand are cute and friendly, I will quite happily handle them :0)

Originally posted by StarrmanTrue. I probably wouldn't kill one. Try to let it outside or whatever. On the other hand, if you've got a baby in the house, best thing is to annihilate anything potentially harmful in a 2 mile radius.

Originally posted by StarrmanOne might accidentally bother them. It's like having a nervous midget with a syringe of poison hiding under my sink. I'm not going to leave her alone!
