anybody know of a website where they will pay you to submit fan art? it doesnt matter if its art for a subject idk about, ill research it and draw it.

Do you have a profile on Devian art? Post some work there I can see if it's good enough.

People would pay you to do something that fans do all the time? I'm not sure how that works. I would think you would join a site where people share free art, and develop a separate page or portfolio of images for retail. If they are that good, people see your free work, and you blow their mind with your retail art just giving samples.

So join a popular site, keep drawing... develop a fan base and perhaps you'll start making money.

I've also heard a lot about "starving artists" so don't expect an easy answer to your idea to make cash with your art, very few do unless you really stand above the rest.

Nobody will pay you unless they have seen some of your work. Deviant Art website is a good place to show your portfolio - you do have one, don't you? 🙂

"The Iron Chef" is a cooking contest. Taste in food is subjective.

Either term works for me, but I find "contest" significantly more exciting and motivating.

Anyway, I won't have time to do anything till after I get back from vacation, but if anyone's interested, let me know. I'd be happy to organize something.
