...don't mix. At least my girlfriend.

If you tell me to put this in sports than I give you a pre-shut-up before you even say it.

I have Flyers tickets tonight, luxury box (the joys of having wealthy students). My girlfriend is pissed because I'm supposed to be taking my best friend. He, my best friend, is upset now because I'm actually considering taking my girlfriend. She doesn't even like sports! I have been watching any and every sporting event with my best friend for the better part of 15 years. and she has only been my girlfriend for 6 months. I think the choice is obvious.

*Note to Darv* - if they both end up being mad at me and not going than you can come to the game, being that your a good hockey fan and seem to need the cheering up.

If she's pissed because you're going out with your friend, then it's time to say bye bye to her, especially if she doesn't even like the game.

Next time she goes shopping with her friend, chew her out and say she can't go unless she takes you with her.

If she doesn't see the ridiculousness of that then, well there's always divorce court.

I have a great idea that will solve both problems - send you freind and girlfriend together and watch it on tv.
That way they will both feel guilty for making you miss the game and you will be able to get payment, in some form or another, as well as coming out of it clean.

Never give in to manipulation. Never reward bad behavior.

Take your girl to the game but don't change your routine when you get there. Make sure that she knows that she is now in your element and this is how it is. Once she sees that, you shouldn't have no problem taking your friend to the game since she will have no interest at all at the game. She might even insist that you go with your friend since she knows where you will be.
And there should be no problem when your woman goes out shopping with her girlfriends .That's how you establish some "me" time ina relationship. Jusyt make sure you give out the credit card with a small limit when you do😉

Go with your friend, and take your girlfriend somewhere else another day to make up for it.

Brilliant!

Offer them both the tickets.
Score big from both.
Both return tickets out of guilt.
Go yourself and take your boss.

=4 people happy!
