Good riddence! I'm glad he suffered the horrible fate he was trying to cause to the hundreds of innocent people inside the airport. It's just a shame that he was in a coma and missed all the excruciating pain from his injuries.

I am in favour of the death penalty yes, it would make others stop and think before they commit a crime.

In some cases, I would personally like to be the executioner too.

Wasn't this man supposed to be a suicide bomber? How would the death penalty deter him?

He was always going to die of his injuries, I reckon they kept him going for 5 weeks to prolong the suffering, although how much he wou;d've suffered in a coma is an unknown.

What i can't understand is how a terrorist with a PhD in Engineering can flunk a bombing so badly! I mean here you have a guy who's gone to Cambridge, driving a Jeep into the doors of an airport? He's hardly going to cause much damage is he? Look at the photo, they only managed to singe the front of the building. Surely he'd have made some attempt to cause some damage. If it was me i'd have walked into the building with a bomb in a bag, it's not like anyone is going to bat an eye lid at a guy wearing a rucksack is it?? It's an airport!

Would you be ready to see the occasional innocent tortured and killed so that you could satisfy your hunger for revenge?

The deterring factor of the death penalty for pedophiles and (particularly) for terrorists is pretty low, wouldn't you agree?
