Learn the complex ones. It is not that hard to learn a lot of guitar chords, behind most of them is lot of logic, and the more chords that you learn, the easier will be to you to learn new ones. There exists certain patterns and analogies between chords. And when you learn them, you will be the coolest man around πŸ˜›
Yeah, I mix em in here and there... right now I was looking for something new and simple to play and a good song I can get through.

Try checking up on some of The Darkness tabs. They're easy to play, catchy and you get to screech at the top of your voice when you try to hit those high notes.

I've been working a couple "They Might Be Giants" songs, and Beatles... and some others.

Anyone have a link to a good song that isn't too complex for me to mess about with? The chords in Across The Universe by Beatles is a bit too complex, and TMBG is driving my wife nuts.

So, please let me know of a good song with lots of standard chords like

G ...[text shortened]... uch for the funky chords that take all 4 or more of my fingers.

Thanx in advance.

I've heard alot of Floyd songs are easy to play, try something like Hey You or Comfortably Numb.

Try out the Kinks. That seems to be the kind of crap you're looking for, I think.

Or you could just learn to play Pink Floyd like every other mook in this world.

All the beatles songs typically use the basic chords that you mentioned. "Let it Be" is a pretty simple progression and the strumming is easy if your just starting out.

Sorry, I don't care for CCR.

Kinks is the best offer so far, but I've still not got a link to any tabs for a good song.

Phlabs, try this site: lots of stuff, both in simple chords and tabs (which are sometimes just chords themselves really)
http://www.fretplay.com/tabs/

For a particularly easy number:

Everyone should know it. And probably never play it either!

(PS: chords for The Beatles and TMBG are both on site too)
