To be honest, I was going to start the thread off with those but I couldn't remember "please" and "you're welcome".

In other news, my girlfriend of 9 years has just become my fiance of 1 day and you SOBs are the first to know. Well, apart from the parents that is.

Maybe you should master your own language first. It's "you're welcome" and not "your welcome". You're - it's a contraction for you are. You see how that works?
You could have just said that you don't know any other languages. We wouldn't have pointed and laughed. Much.

Hello=Bonjour
Goodbye= Au revoir
Please= Sil vous plait
Thank you= Merci
You're welcome= Votre bienvenue
Bump I'm not sure of it in this context.

The Quebecois version is the same, but with the phrase "maudit anglais" added whenever possible.

I meant the prego/de nada version of "you're welcome".

I assume you mean "bitte schön" ("bitte schon" would mean "you're welcome already" πŸ˜‰ ), which works fine. You can also say "bitte sehr", or just "bitte".
