I want to run a demo I downloaded but I receive the message:
768MB of [b]free swap file space required. Free some and try again, moron*.
What the hell is this? I uninstalled limewire, works, and some stuff I never use, and I have 45 Gb free space, π²
PLEASE HELP!!

I am open to bribery though.

Keep dreaming, Tiger.
I'd say your Craptop has only got 512mb RAM....?
π
Well, no, I think it has the next, after that 512... but anyway, it has
no respectable sound card nor video card, so the problem is this... I
use it only for internet and word processor, but sometimes I want to
play some nice game that requires not much, i.e. Fifa or Caesar III,
and then the problems start...
Tell me, how hard is to upgrade a laptop? Can I put some
testosterone in it or should I consider buying a new one?

* very hard, since the vital parts are all custom made.
*buy a new one it will come cheaper
Would you say EUR 650 (net, already substracting the old one) is
a good price? What should I expect/ask from the new one?
Originally posted by SeitseYou need to work out what you want to use it for and get the minimum spec for the highest level processing you want to do.

So in your example:
Surfing Web
Word Processing
Occasional Gaming
You need to spec up for a gaming laptop, as this will allow you to do all, but anything specced less will leave you in the position you're in now.

Also, does your help mean that I don't behave like a dick towards you?

That link should help.
My helping reflects the fact I recognise you are a dick, and there is little that can be done to change this. Plus I'm feeling helpful.
