There is a guy going to business shows and saying he works for my company. What can be done about this? What are the penalties for claiming you are affiliated with a company that you have nothing to do with?
Not only is it bullcrap, he does a piss poor job to boot.

Actually, you have to show where he has done damage to you or your business by his claims. If there is no damage, there is no crime. Unfortunately, it is not against the law to lie (except under oath of course). Have you been damaged? Lost business, smear campaign or the like?
