I have read a book, where the author was reporting on the Lady who discovered Granny Smith in Australia. I am surprised to hear that they are grwon in Sweden.
I don't know if they are grown here, but at least sold. 🙂

In Kivik they grwo 70 different varieties, so maybe Granny Smith is one of them:

I have been there, it's a lovely place. I'll check the varieties next time I visit.
