zm775, otherwise known as liquidator, was a NZ guy named Bernie. He and I were great Skype mates back in the day. Not widely known to most posters because most of his activity was in private forums. Had a club called Bernies Place. Died suddenly of cancer after a long period in remission.

I didn't know the fellow but sorry to hear about his passing of course.

Explains why I didn't know who he was though.

I would nominate Ice Cold. He hasn't moved in over 3000 days and still has a thread in the top 10 in General.
I used to talk with him on the phone and he was a lovely and gentle guy. I don't know if he has passed or not but I do know he had some medical issues he was dealing with.

Ice Cold is/was Art Watts. He had several names here, from aspviper666 to (I think) ChessPraxis. I'd second him too. Both family and personal health issues as I recall.

This thread is dredging up good memories for me. Thanks for the concept, coquette.
