i've been friends with compulsive liars before and they get depressed because one bad move there downhill follows. you don't need to lie to be accepted.

My brother-in-law grew up on a farm, but he didn't actually know you can bring wounded animals to the vet like that either. It used to be you had to pay for everything at the vet. They always shoot wounded animals (if the animal is considered too wounded to be rescued).
