Try I will most certainly
but I do still feel the urge to tell you this
I am Belgian and as such
English is not my native language
So forgive me any grammatical errors
in my Raven Carol to come
For it will be far from flawless
But nevertheless, a poem.
I do not long to b ...[text shortened]... yet
but this message...it's a sonnet

Nothing could ever separate them
They valued one another much above
Any gold trinket or precious gem
Until one day a noble Belgian Knight
Came in from what appeared like nowhere
His armour shining in the bright moonlight
His kind face so beautiful and fair
He wrote the maiden bird a sonnet
Which is never an easy feat
The poor Wolf found it to be absurd
But the fickle Raven loved it
And now poor Raven is quite torn
Will their love Wolf have to mourn?

How dare he?!
A little bird wandered onto a board
With her black feathers and sharp claws
She felt cold and hungry and very bored
How completely alone and sad she was
When a Wolf being so sweet and kind
Took her to his warm den
At complete ease he put her mind
And most happy was she then
He gave her food and kept her very warm
And gave her a very shiny thing
He's better than the calm after a storm
He's better than first day of spring
To have met Wolfie, Raven is glad
And hopes their friendship won't go bad

Just do better then his sonnet, Wolfy π. I know he's Belgian, but you can't let that get to you π.
I don't even speak English.
o, if only I was allowed to write Dutch poems.
I feel so misunderstoodπ
By the way, raven, your sonnets are quite something. if we're not careful you'll end up winning this battle yourself and thus ending like Narcissus, leaving us two without a bird to watch
Showing my Latin education and thus being able to whip out my favourite smileyπππππ
