I have just deleted my unused icons, including the adobe one (i thought that was a dance, but anyhoo...), and now i only have 13 icons on my PC display screen.

How many icons do you have ? Am i grossly underutilising my computer, or what ?

Three: My computer, My Documents, and Recycle Bin.

If anyone knows how I can remove these three, please, share.

Seventeen, including my beloved limewire with which I download loads
of... er... uh... legal material.

Actually, there is a way because I had a friend teach me how to do it. If no one else responds, PM me to remind me after school.

Right click Desktop->Arrange Icons By->uncheck 'Show Desktop Icons'. 🙂

That's a quick way to hide them all.

I have 8 showing - I used to have 30 odd but got rid of them.

Right click on the desktop -> properties -> desktop tab -> customize -> uncheck relevant icons.
