I have to confess this to you. I kinda have this strange errrrrrrrr... thing.. I don't know how to pu it but I like words. Don't ask me why I just do. Not all of them of course, but some them just have something special. And well... it's just not words... I also like certain expressions too...
For instance: mesmerise. This is the most beautifull word I know. Another word would be langue. This is a portuguese word.
Examples of expressions might be for instance: bursting in, barge in, the living days light, patati-patata, yadda yadda yadda, estás aqui estás ali.... And the list goes on...

Are you like this too or am I just a loneley freak?

That's hardly used in modern Portuguese. The current word is lânguido, but ok...

So is adam. Let's not destroy his thread.

I enjoy the Canadian expression "Tabernac". 😉

I don't think that you know that you aren't always right you know? First you implied that langue wasn't a portuguese word. When I gave you an example on top of my head that it was, your excuse was that it wasn't hardly used nowadays. As if I said it was. And now you are whatevering me. Do yourself a favour and grow up by accepting that you aren't always right.

Edit: Forget about this mini-feud please. 😉

Ah, so he is! My mistake.

I also enjoy "Tabernac", but for me I get much enjoyment and wonder from great names. Our AA here at work has a great name - Bebe Bacchus. That's killer. Also, football players (not soccer) have the greatest names ever.

I'm already doing you a favour in not correcting the enormous amount of mistakes in the expressions you posted.

For me, you're just trying to show you know a lot of languages when you splatter (here's a word I like: splatter) mistakes all over the place. "Langue" is just not used in Portuguese anymore. Things change, languages evolve. Deal with it.
