Having Kunta Kinte as an avatar is "racist"???π
Would this photo of a black man in jail be offensive, too? http://photos.state.gov/galleries/usinfo-photo/39/civil_rights_07/009-CivilRights.jpg

If not, why is a picture of Kunte Kinte in chains "racist in nature and offensive"?
Please try to give an actual reason this time.

A BWA Clan member, can he seriously justify to me or to others, what he thinks the kind of 'attitude' Kunte Kinte would have, with chains round his neck?

Have you ever heard of "symbolism"? The symbolism of MLK behind bars and Kunte Kinte in chains could be considered quite similar.
Originally posted by no1marauderPerhaps there are still some people around who would use those symbols to mean that they support Dr. King being in jail and support physical or theoretical slavery. Lots of weird people hang out here.

Originally posted by Elamef37Good job. Don't take any crap from that dog. Too long has the BWA cultured the image of persecution by posing as black men.
What reason would I have to give you? I found it offensive, I don't think I have to elaborate that to you.
Be careful though, what is to be considered offensive is subjective and a steep slippery slope. We will never get beyond petty hatreds if we continue to fail to blur cultural and social boundries. Fear, control and power are the subversive undercurrents of all interracial conflict.
