True. He is a tragic character in the novel but isn't there tragedies in all stories that we are to learn a lesson from?

the management is concerned about the cost of defending a lawsuit, not about defending truth. it's just good business to cut off all possible complications, where the financial interests of the company don't specifically require it. anyone in any kind of management position knows that from practice. of if not, they'll learn it the hard way very quickly (like I did).

but it doesn't mean that the intent was irrelevant. it's only irrelevant to the financial interests of the company.

I think that if a black person finds it offensive, then it's not up for question by some pastey white dude who wants to act gangsta and hard on the forums....let's face it, he put it there to get a reaction and he got it....war is war loser.
I wouldn't personally do it. but I wouldn't confuse it with racism either. loser.

I just don't see how white men pretending to be black, portraying black stereotypes, is fighting racism.
It isn't fighting racism, it is supporting racism.

It is absolutely absurd to argue that one can fight racism by perpetuating negative racial stereotypes.

It's not surprising that you had to learn a lesson the hard way.

this hammer and sickle argument is essentially a red-herring intended to deflect valid criticism.

I held onto the avatar because it was the most recognized on RHP.

But, in order to avoid further attempts to defend the indefensible by deflecting criticism back on my own avatar I have today changed it back to my original avatar from 3 years ago.

The BWA clan is composed of mostly white men that pretend that acting as black stereotypes is a good way to fight racism.
You and I are in a forum with one of the BWA's most vocal members.

In that forum, he made exceptionally offensive comments about blacks, jews, arabs, homosexuals, and others.

And you have the audacity to claim that his group is fighting racism?

shame on you palynka!

can you?

do I need to direct you to the posts?

are you arguing that the comments made by the BWA member in question weren't offensive?
