I disagree. Many people haven't even heard of the mini-series. I think age, education and location might be a factor if they have or have not.
People seem like they are ignorant of the word ignorant. It is not a bad thing to be ignorant since we all are ignorant of something or other. The problem is when we act in ignorance which is the case here.
