I have several as I collect them, a couple of them are worth over £300. I have a couple of Onyx ones and a couple of Marble ones, a glass one, a whiskey/vodka shot one. Several pewter ones, and a couple of soapstone ones. As well as your normal wooden tournament style ones.
I will be putting pictures of these on my clan website.
I've got one signed by Peter Leko, after he kicked my arse at a simul game πππ
And since I play at RHP this board sits next to my laptop for analysis
I really need a few more boards so I don't have to set up the positions over and over again ...
Wonder what Ceshire Cat would do if he'd pursue this strategy playing here lol ...
All the best
The Slow Pawn
I wouldn't mind seeing these chess sets, especially Flex's cloth one, if anyone is interested in showing these chess sets off to everybody I am more than willing to setup a seperate gallery on my clan website dedicated to RHP members chess sets. Just pop along to my clan website and goto photo galleries and click on email link and email me yout photos and I will have them up there for all of RHP to see them.

I have several sets I would call my favorite...a Disney set my sister bought in Germany, a Cowboy and Indian set, handcrafted, made in Mexico... and my most favorite set of all...the first set I ever owned...a green and white roll-eeze board that my mom bought for a dollar and plastic pieces from a set on clearance at a department store, she payed like fifty cents...way back in 1972...I dug it out a couple of years ago...it sits on the desk next to me...reminds me of home, everytime I move those pieces -- "boomer"
I carry a travel set ( i say travel but it's still fills my bag) with me everywhere i go. It's wood with magnetic pieces (brown and white squares, my preferance)π
I also have a full size Staunton set, triple weighted pieces, really beutifull π Picked it up on sale, reduced from £300+ to £50
