Many years ago I fully expected to see a Crystal Palace at Crystal Palace before it was pointed out to me that it burned to the ground in 1936.
I went to the Royal Albert Hall. Albert was nowhere to be seen. They had some bloke called Eric Crapton or something as a stand-in. I asked for my money back, but they refused.
