I just bought an iTrip so I can play my iPod music in my car - I'll be returning it tomorrow (granted I can find the receipt).
I can't handle static.
What's the best option to go with for playing music on my ipod through the car? I have a civic, which doesn't appear to be outfitted with a connector for the iPod, but I drive another car also - so getting them BOTH outfitted for that might be a bit expensive - although if it's under $100 (doubtful) I'd gladly pay.
I've heard mixed reviews about Monster Cables - anybody have any ideas?

Thanks for nothing!
Originally posted by cmsMasterA lot of my friends have the tape deck adapter. It is a tape with a wire that connects to your ipod. I was actually considering buying one after riding in a friends car who had one. It worked great! It would also be good for you because it would be easily trasferred from car to car.

Originally posted by cmsMasterCan you not get some kind of noise suppression unit for your car? Maybe it's the alternator that's giving out all the noise. I was looking for something similar yesterday. I have a 12V to 240V inverter to power my electric guitar from a car battery. Unfortunately it gives out a shed load of noise. I'm thinking of getting one of these: -

Not sure if it will work for my set up, but I'm pretty sure it will help yours a great deal. 🙂
