The post that was quoted here has been removedif you bought a warranty, im pretty sure the warranty only covers stuff like dropping it or something, but if its software problems i dont think it covers it. i have a solution though, if its the software, throw it on the ground and say you dropped it from really high, theyll never know.

Most warrantys cover defects in material or workmanship. Not some kid dropping it. That is considered abuse and voids most manufacturers warrantys.

If you have music on your computer that you have downloaded from whatever source just open iTunes and click on the File tab at the top left. From the dropdown menu click on Add Folder to Library. Select the folder that your music is in and and hit enter. This will add your downloaded music to your iTunes library and then you can drag and drop it on to your iPod.
Limewire is chock full of viruses so I would scan the folder with some good virus protection software - not Norton or CrapAfee. AVG or Avast are decent free virus protection. If you have $40 to spend get Kaspersky AV.
