The Grateful Dead was never more than a jug band, but nothing produced by bands that came into existence after 1972 is in the same league as Pink Floyd, The Dead, and Dylan.

Why has your generation failed to achieve anything in music?
Radiohead. 😛

they gave the Beatle's number one...
... and they left Frank Zappa completely off the list. Clearly quality was not a consideration.

Miles Davis is on the list, but not Bitches Brew

Faith Hill, Breathe is one above Johnny Cash, Folsom Prison and both are above John Coltrane, A Love Supreme

The list, quite clearly, is a farce.

Explain how Faith Hill, two Dixie Chicks albums, and the Titanic soundtrack (!? - didn't know one existed) are ahead of OK Computer?
Ok computer was uttery crap. Whining, moaning teenage rubbish full of maggoty lyrics and doused in self pity. God awful tripe.
Not, mind you, that Faith Hill or the Titanic soundtrack should be up there either...

U2's "The Joshua tree" is not better than U2's "The unforgettable fire". Full stop.

Pearl jam? Give me a break.

ANYBODY who puts ANY ALBUM by Metallicrap in a top 100 should be dragged outside (presumably screaming and kickin'😉 and have their head kicked in.

Springsteen's "Born in the US" is not a better album than Springsteen's "The river".

Paul Simon's "Graceland" is not a better album than Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge over troubled water".

Not one album by Frank Zappa, The Velvet Underground (Lou Reed or John Cale) or Tom Waits.
The list is bollocks and should not be viewed. It has no credibility and the initial poster should be dragged outside (whining and moaning) and be shot out of his misery for wasting everyone's precious time.

No Allman Brothers albums, Santana Abraxas should have been on the list, Stones some girls, No Joplin. What's up with this crap?

Thta list is utterly crap, crap, crap.

First, too much Beatles, and those hippies are overrated.

Second, Miles Davis is #34 and Jimmy Hendrix #41

I bet Davis and Hendrix influenced MUCH MORE artists and mastered
their art beyond that stupid, PMS'd Alanis Morrisete with her crappy
shouting for emo, lazy clowns.
