This was one beaut of a quote he sent Russ...( and forwarded on to a number of other RHPites.)

There you go, and there you have it. On top of that, he's been talking about leaving RHP for 2 years, encouraging users not to join, and encouraging others not to resubscribe. Russ got tired of it when Arrakis couldn't handle a [b]one day ban after a warning not to post bigoted terms in the forums.
Arrakis posted it again and that's when he got the one day ban.
He sent Russ some love notes, and Russ removed him from the service.

Originally posted by no1marauderSorry to reach so far back in this thread, but I wanted to clarify something based on emails I've exchanged with Arrakis recently regarding the events surrounding his site ban.
Arrakis was (and is) a tool.
He was banned for making insane threats against the Site Admins because he got a ONE DAY forum ban. He got off lucky; on the Good Ship Marauder, he would have been hung from the highest yardarm!
Arrakis maintains that he made no "insane threats" leading up to being banned from the site. He felt he was being unfairly treated by the forum mods and decided to register a formal complaint with Russ via mail rather than here on the site. To that end he requested a mailing address to which he could send said complaint. Immediately following this request, in which he maintains no legal threats were made, Arrakis was banned from the site.
Since he has no way to directly respond to accusations and speculations made here on RHP, I just wanted to relate his side of the story, especially regarding the "insane threats" he's alleged to have made.
