your helmets need a little adjusting. You could certainly argue that it's
prejudice of him to assume they were black, but at the same time he didn't
say or suggest that all black boys are violent gang-rapists, nor that he
knew for certain they were black. Just that he guessed it, and he turned out
to be right.
