No, you are right. The media is quite racist. You never hear them say "white crime" like they do with "black crime", "asian crime", etc. When whites commit crime it is just "crime".

I agree the race of the victim is irrelevant. But I don't think that irresponsible journalism shouldn't be considered as to why someone first opinion might first think of a Black man/men as the crime suspects. Heck, I am one that believes that a lot of crimes are actually committed by the police themselves and in many cases blamed on others. Would you argue that that doesn't happen? People have a tendency to believe what information the media feeds us. And the truth is they feed us prejudice. They been proved wrong on their inflammatory racial reporting on several occasions. If you don't see it you aren't looking close enough.
