If he felt bad about committing the crime I can only imagine what's
going through his head after having turned himself in: "I'm so stupid!
Stupid!".

Actually, he's better off now. He'll get free food and roof over his head,
and all he has to do is a little work and shag an inmate or two. Yep. He's
definitely stepping up in the world.

kindhearted that he can't take what he needs to survive without feeling

There was a case in the news in England just yesterday. Three guys kidnapped and repeatedly gang raped this girl. When they were done, they poured caustic soda over her, giving her such severe burns that her body can no longer regulate it's temperature. When in court, they sniggered while the charges were being read, showing a complete lack of remorse. The longest sentence was 9 years!

in my court they would be castrated and then left on an empty island off the coast of scotland to die without any supplies. i would leave one knife at 100 yards. they could kill each other eventually and the last would die alone. i have no pity for dogs.

I rarely get genuinely angry by things i read in the news but those sick little devils really managed it. Thankfully i'm pretty certain they'll receive plenty of prison justice. Prisoners read the news too!

That's just sick. They should spend rest of their time in jail in a 1x1 meter cell. 9 years ? Stuff like that make me hate this world. If this was my girlfriend or sister, I would make sure to be in jail more than 9 years for what I would do to them.

that paper says a gang of up to 10. Only 3 get charged after a year? That must be neighbours not talking to the police. I imiagine the family despair. It's hopeless. The longer sentence was only because a robbery was added on.

I can tell you this, here in the U.S., rapist and pedophiles don't have it easy in prison. Most end up in some sort of protective custody. Even killers have mothers,wives, sisters and children. Those guys would not be snickering for long.

Thankfully, responding to complaints about the sentencing, the Attorney General has stepped into to review the case. With any luck they'll all get proper sentences.
