For some reason I always thought you lived in Paris. Glad you are safe.

When do you expect your home renovation project will be completed?

P.S. Will there be a guest room available by Autumn?
Well, I'm a married man so I have no say-so in when the projects will be done, right? This one has to be done by Sunday, June 15th because that is when our son John comes home on leave from the Navy. First time since last Thanksgiving he will be here and that is sweet. I'll be dragging my games out and not posting much for a while since he has two weeks on leave.

When the heat finally breaks is a great time to visit Texas and you are always welcome. Room and board are provided for you and any RHP sub. Two computers in the library and lots of cold beer in the fridge.

Soccer is soccer, until the day the game equipment includes a pigskin spheroid...

then maybe we'll discuss changing the name to 'flag feetsball'. Go Cowboys!

And people complain about 1-nil matches now! Only the place-kicker in American football knows how to kick the ball when it is on the ground. And then someone has to hold it for him. 🙂

And the rest of the world knows what "football" means, but I guess there is no changing us Yanks this late in the game.

Rugby is enjoyable to watch. Isn't the shape of the ball other than round?

P.S. Happy Father's Day, Steve.

Many thanks. As I type this, I can stretch out my arms and touch both of my sons. A nice day.... no one made a big deal that I was a father, but everyone quietly agreed that the facts were what they are. The future generations here in the US are A-Ok.
