No delicate quail eggs. That's for sure. Did you like the 'l' word in your Vocabulary thread today?

Speaking of food, see any merit in today's conversation in 'umble pie for sale' or is it mostly baloney?

Wondering if you drove the children today?

Several people obviously did see merit and there were several thoughtful replies. More probably did the calculations in private (mine is 50% ). Not wanting to cross-thread, but we have enough arguements and confusion over the current rating system. The more complex GB system might be a fine personal reference point for checking improvement, but I hear the waves of chaos hitting the shore if we applied it to the entire community.

GB System: "The Hebrews of rating systems". 😉

Okay... by the way 50% is commendable. I salute you. Oh, and you never

did mention whether or not I should loan you some of the money I owe you.

During the summer months the Moose works pro bono, we'll discuss money after Labor Day. 😛 (Labour Day for our European friends).

Already had an experience or two while training for the job. For instance on the third morning one of the boys came out his door with his mother and came running up to me to tell me, in his own peculiar sign language, that his favourite sports team had won their game. His mother was amazed and said she had never seen him run to the school bus, and she couldn't understand why he was in a hurry to go to school. 🙂

Kindness is a magnet, especially with little ones, as well as the

personalized attentiveness and safety of a grandfather figure.

Eager for observations and stories to unfold. Salute your charity.
