Shikoku feels like the eye of a hurricane...Hosokawa feels like a man sinking into a swamp, watching the crows circle overhead...but his kill hand is not wet.
Hosokawa's enemies have the collective personality of wilted lettuce. It is most humiliating to be savaged by a pack of wilted lettuce.
Originally posted by Bosse de NageAh yes, Hosokawa weakly disparaging others' alleged kleshas while conveniently ignoring the fact his own highly cultivated defilements are causing the premature downfall of not only himself but also those that ill-chose to side with him.
For all Benkei's blather about karma, he's hooked up with quite a serpent himself.
Nothing new to see here.
I'm dedicating all merit-generation to keeping you out of the hell realms, Hosokawa-sama. It's a lot of work, let me tell you. I'm destined for avici in any event. Hopefully I can keep you from joining me there!

Coincidentally, you chimed in at post 666. Benkei, the demon monk?
The point of my comment--which expresses amusement as much as disparagement--is that I'm supposedly this evil son-of-a-bitch always conniving to do everyone else in with my "dark diplomacy", yet your gang is quite happy to associate with Asakura, who is actually doing the sort of things I allegedly do. You know, I attempted to betray Shimazu in revenge for something in another game; apart from that, I have actually been a good boy, and even tried to help some people!
Originally posted by Bosse de NageIndeed I do. Performing the necessary prostrations alone on that wooden floor is causing a callus in the middle of my forehead!

And "666" is considered a very lucky number in our culture. I don't take the missionaries' position.

I've helped you in other times and places but the help hasn't been reciprocal. I was a most loyal vassal in one instance, in the other, my own imminent demise and much prolonged heat from friends and enemies alike has been my reward for letting you off the hook and getting others to do so.
The skids to avici are being greased this very moment!
Originally posted by eagles54As you know, I advised Amako according to the information he gave me, which turned out to be false. He played carelessly in AoC and here too. I offered to prove this to you, but you ignored that, choosing to believe what you preferred to believe, no doubt. That I found strange. Well, it no longer matters.

I'm curious as to why you should turn on Matsunaga. He's a better general than Hatano or Asakura. He could have been quite useful to you. He is also quite trustworthy, you know. Then again, he's not dead yet.
It's a pity about AoC. Unfortunately the unspeakable treetalk got the better of both of us there. Then I dropped out in solidarity with Rome. How many are left playing?
