As you know, I advised Amako according to the information he gave me, which turned out to be false. He played carelessly in AoC and here too. I offered to prove this to you, but you ignored that, choosing to believe what you preferred to believe, no doubt. That I found strange. Well, it no longer matters.

I'm curious as to why you should turn on M ...[text shortened]... of both of us there. Then I dropped out in solidarity with Rome. How many are left playing?
Very good, avoiding taking any responsibility for those under your command. Of course you never came to me first diplomatically before directing Amako to strike Hatano. That was a mistake. I agree, Amako has been sloppy, and has been elsewhere, and you need not make a further mistake by presuming I doubted your version of the story. It mattered little whether I did or not because you obviously had no control over your ally's actions.

Matsunaga was twice offered a place to become a trusted member of my coalition. He chose another direction. Your characterization that I've somehow "turned" on him is another failed attempt of yours to spin the facts for the consumption of the populace. My generals have been completely able and trustworthy and you may want to note that continued disparagement of them only reflects badly upon yourself.

In AoC, the two large powers are mopping up while I alone enjoy one last lingering view of the Med before I go for my evening swim.

Able--Hatano's capital falls to a sneak attack by a neutral neighbour whom she clearly distrusts enough to keep a standing army on his doorstep. Trustworthy--Asakura inveigles himself into Matsunaga's confidence under the pretence of being an ally and abuses his trust as soon as it is expedient--after Matsunaga helps him take Nagoya, of course. Not that I have anything against that sort of thing in principle...

Hey, I have visitors.

This thread is dull. Come on, scum, you're beating me--aren't I entitled to a little being gloated over at least?
har har har, you're getting such a beating. I can't believe it really, this is just what you deserve after winning the last game and leaving me out of the victory parade, har har har, My only wish would be for No1 Marauder to pipe up and claim to be right again😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞

Indeed I do. Performing the necessary prostrations alone on that wooden floor is causing a callus in the middle of my forehead!

And "666" is considered a very lucky number in our culture. I don't take the missionaries' position.
Dude, you take the missionary position. Don't lie! I have pictures.

Since you've brought up the subject, I can come up with some choice mistakes made by every person playing this game that I've played with/against in others. Some real winners. Including you. Myself too. What is your motive in singling out Hatano alone? If I were you, judging by my track record, I wouldn't count myself up in Bonaparte company just yet.

I can also tell you of a number of schemes perpetrated by those who would be very happy to have everyone just forget, some of which never fully came to light in the first place. And those are only the ones I know of. Goodness knows I've been screwed occasionally by plotters in those I didn't know of until too late. I'm happy to see we have a full compliment of plotters in this game. I think there'd be plenty of embarassment to go around should all the deceptions of the past and those in place now become known.

Those who are completely and unquestionably honorable in this game, beyond reproach, wouldn't dream of serving their own (or their master's) ends, no matter the consequence, see no gray areas but only a clear vision of virtue in the face of Death, please step forward to receive your knightship.

Did you know that we crazy buddhists hold that there is not one hell, but many hells? Why would anyone think there is but a single place to experience untold suffering for innumerable kalpas?

It seems you wish to create many places of suffering for your former allies.

Sohei rabble--superstitious freaks, almost as bad as Christians.

And how have you been my ally, Lord Matsunaga?

I wanted to bring you into my complete trust and confidence. I was quite sincere in my appeals to you. You chose to side with Hosokawa. I respected that decision and told you as much, but do you have no expectation that your decision put you firmly in another camp, one that attacked my vassal and has also fully alienated the Kyushu Alliance by your Lord's manipulations?

I've heard nothing from you since early on in the game. Even after generosity was extended to you by me, you remained mute. A little gratitude would have gone a long way for me to see our so-called alliance in a much better light.

Oh, it's not superstition. A person creates their own hell realm by their unending cultivation of negative actions. Where are these negative actions cultivated? In the defiled, ego-grasping mind. Hell will be experienced by that very mind, the creator of Hell.

Sounds like a pretty Christianised take on Buddhism to me 😉
