What don't you understand about the plot? Or are you referring to the numerous unsolved mysteries that have been brought up?
I, for one, gave up any inclination to know EXACTLY why everything happens around the end of the second season. I prefer the show to be more abstract and metaphorical than to have some literal answer to tidy everything up with a n ...[text shortened]... e lot.
It reminds me of the movie Magnolia, which I love and can watch a hundred times over.

That one was good, also. So was the Claire episode. But last night's was my favourite BY FAR. Maybe even my favourite for the whole series. Locke is an incredibly complex character that has only now become to come together. With each flashback that is revealed and we are shown who Locke really is -- an extremely depressed and tortured soul -- it makes h ...[text shortened]... teresting.
His interactions with Ben in last night's episode were totally enthralling, IMO.
