Honestly, I'm inclined to cede you Savoy just for having the gall...funnily enough, my offer for peace to Venice in Turn 6 was foolishly refused too.
The only blustering done is by you in this forum.
Where was the gold promised by you on your hasty retreat from Saluzzo?
Probably kept next to that non-existant peace treaty.
Tell you what, keep it for that drink in the Savoy 🙂

I didn't trust him to actually do so; so I declared war just in case. If he had withdrawn there would have been no fighting. And it wasn't a "sneak attack"; I told him if he left troops in Lombardy, I'd go to war. He broke that agreement (the first of 3 he violated), not me.
You told me you were going to sneak attack Alres and try to pass it off as a mistake!
Look at no1Hussein spin!

Originally posted by no1marauderThat you will... Province gifting is after battles...so only if he posesses Savoy will it be a gift.....

It would be really funny though to gift that prize to another realm just before it could be claimed....
Also you can't just gift a province to another realm far away. The rules state:
·The recipient realm must have a soldier or ship in the province, or in a connected province or connected sea. This represents a token force that is needed to accept the gift and install some basic infrastructure in the province.
Originally posted by catfoodtimYou must be illiterate. I did withdraw from Rhaetia and offered peace; you "foolishly refused the offer" as the turnfile states. Once you did so, the deal was off. That was the third time you broke an agreement. It will be your last.
I thought you agreed to withdraw from Rhaetia and Saluzzo and give me a small gold payment in Turn 6?
Good job I wasn't relying on either payment to feed the kids eh?
Instead I get a couple of sunken boats of the coast of Provence, and a land grab by your ally Aragon.
Originally posted by KnightWulfeThe only treachery involved was Arles'. And for Hungary to talk of treachery is hypocrisy in the highest form. I have kept every agreement I have entered and my allies have clearly benefited from their alliances with me.
All I can say is that you have to expect treachery when you deal with the serpent - he'll bite you in the arse every time....
Keep that in mind those who are his allies.....

Why thank you. Straight out of the goat's mouth.
