Army X invades Province A from Province B at the same time as enemy army Y invades Province C from Province A. Do X & Y fight each other?

A: No. In your first phase, you have left your territory, if someone takes it over in the first phase, then, when it comes time to retreat, you will not be able to retreat to it, as it no longer belongs to you. Ha!

OK, another technical question:
Let's say I have cavalry on the border of an enemy province & infantry two marches away. The cavalry takes the province in phase 1; can the infantry march there in the same turn? Normally they couldn't (1 march + 2 movement to invade), but in this case?
EDIT: Chapter 5 - Move Points (c) If the province has changed ownership during the turn, then the Move Cost is 2 for the rest of that turn (no matter who owns it and this lasts until the end of the turn).

Maybe it's just the yellow/purple colour combination, but the size of those two realms and the fact they share two fronts kind of leapt out at me from the map.
