Ya know, everybody can see the turnfiles and all the troops; why lie? You're not fooling me and Arles is gone, so why keep up the charade?
Yes. And no to Ya.

Because as part of their little peace deal after Aragon had fallen into the Heather trap in Swabia (which I told him not to), Aragon is going to allow Bavaria and Saxony to pass through Alsace to attack Rhaetia. Now if King Phil and I are dunderheaded enough to trust BDN AGAIN, they could storm an army of knights through there this turn and we wouldn't h ...[text shortened]... ge of taking Savoy and quickly knocking me from the game. However, that dog ain't gonna hunt.
Ahh, I see. Thanks for clearing that up.

Did you send a thank you note to Aragon for betraying his ally?
I've told you what actually happened. Since such bungling is highly implausible, I don't blame you for not believing me, However you'll find that my "betrayal" came as much of a surprise to your enemies as it did to you, if not more--since you were apparently expecting it.

Be that as it may--I'm content to play the role I've been assigned in your script. Henceforth I shall be known as the Knight of the Long Knives...

One does one's best.

The ironies in this game multiply. How does a self-styled Machiavellian ruler complaining about treachery strike you?

When exactly did I so "self-style" myself? Parroting Heather tag lines now; you really do need some more reading material than PM's from BB and KW.

Ha ha ha ha ha. Ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...

Insinuation duly retracted, noble Doge.

Or are you actually going to come get your own hands dirty for a change? Why not? Your puppets have done a bit of softening up, so it shouldn't be too hard, even for you.
Princess, Italy came calling, but there was no one to greet us. I thought even infidels had better manners than that. Shame that you got another Commander killed off by the Mamulukes. Important Safety Tip: you really should try to defend 11 gold provinces or 1 enemy infantry unit can take them.

I had a boat party planed... but some of my guests didn't show up. Next some guys came in out of nowhere while we were partay... and beat us up and stole our sexy Toronto Ladies! They went to our favorite beach just to rub it in!

If only our friends had shown up, these guys wouldn't have started static.
