I'm sure the Heather relief army is on the way.
It looks to me from this side of Europe that you've just lost a 32 gold province - one of the glittering jewels of Europe - and have a huge navy to feed.

The irony.

That's what was said about you when you were on your RHP Farewell Tour.
The lap dog speaks! Roll over and play dead now; you'll be that about three turns after Denmark is finally defeated. The Saxon doesn't have any easy kills anywhere else, so you can expect a combined Saxony-Acquitaine offensive about then. Good luck.

Yep, it's hopeless. Wanna put a side wager on whether me or the Princess get eliminated first?

My huge navy costs less than 5 Gold upkeep per turn (though capturing Hungarian ships just ticked it up a wee bit), which the Princess will be providing far more than that to my treasury in the future. But thanks for your concern.

Good luck. You need quite a few to make up. I guess we can say you're relocating during renovations?

A lot less so than Arles did before and Poland (without whom Venice would have never fallen) will have to now. That's how Heather allies wind up; where do you think the Princess will relocate to?

Dead or not, it will be worth it to see you eat your just desserts.

Unless someone else screws me over (which is, of course, possible), I'd say I have a pretty good chance of surviving the entire game. It's already been decided who's going to win if present alliances stay the way they are and if everybody else is afraid to take on the Heathers, so I guess that's all I can expect. I've gotten to aid in my first enemy's destruction, am aiding in another's and watched as another lost virtually everything last turn. I suspect I'll be watching when the Saxon finally turns on you as I predicted many turns ago. So I can't be too dissatisfied.

Moving's hell, but it does give you a chance to clear out the attic.

Ironically enough, I am actually moving in the real world at the end of the month. The amount of crap that must be thrown away is appalling.

You've predicted a lot of things. One or other of them is going to come true some time. Face it, you're not much of a sooth sayer.

One of the things that you still seem to fail to realize is that different nations deal with alliances differently. There are different levels of an alliance. We each know what those alliances are, but you keep including everyone who could possibly be or have been an ally and saying that they are the "heather" alliances....
You say that Arles betrayed you. Arles says that you betrayed him.
You say Hungary betrayed you to side with me, but the way it has not been explained is that YOU betrayed Hungary by DEMANDING that they attack me with you or you would break alliance, when he had alliance with us both. You DEMANDED that Nemesio, back when he was in charge or Poland, attack me as well or you would break alliance with him too.

What about The Horde's brilliant take over of Lithuania? He stabbed him HARD in the back, but managed to oust him in a matter of 3 turns. Stunning manuever. You ever smack him down for stabbing Lith in the back? "Oh well thats a 'Horde" alliance for ya." No? Didnt think so.

You seem bent on point out every little thing that the so deemed 'Heather" alliance does. What about your stabs? What about Your mistakes? What about YOUR betrayals?

We both have had our allies, we have both had our enemies. We have both had successes and failures too.
Obviously yours have been for the worse or you would not be where you are now. You would not be worse off than me....or Hungary or Saxony. Hell, you slam and poke and prod at Suzi and you are in no better shape than she is save that you only have two nations attacking you and not 4. I think she is holding our rather well given the circumstances, both GM/technical and in-game.

Of course, being who you are, I am sure you will have a comeback or retort for every single thing that I have sited here.

So everyone else who reads this, take it for what you will.

I'm willing to actual say things about the game in the thread devoted to it. My general statements remain pretty much correct but one can't really predict what others you know nothing about will do. I'd say I've had the actions of the Heathers and the Horde pretty much pegged since early on. The Princess finally conceded today that she was planning to attack Italy rather than the Mamulukes something she had repeatedly denied earlier. Obviously I was pretty good at anticipating Arles' moves. Considering I've been at war with no less than 4 realms since Turn 4, I'd say I've done a fairly good job in figuring out what they were going to do or I wouldn't have lasted this long.

Bookmark here and we'll see have happens to Norway after Denmark is finally finished off. It's your logical area of expansion esp. since you now seem to be working with Acquitaine. If you move against the Teutons, you'll have Acquitaine at your back. Acquitaine will be a lot tougher foe than Norway and you invariably follow the path of least resistance, so Norway will be next.

Roum--I have been attempting no such thing. I simply have no reason to be at war with you anymore. If it pleases you to remain at war with me, so be it. We can pull faces at each other from opposite sides of the Med.
Who didn't?
