Geez, this thread doesn't seem to have any life left. KW's pathetic attempts to boast about a victory he won only because of some schmuck deciding to save the Bavarian rather than his own country is lame. For those keeping track, Bavaria which has had one the biggest armies since early in the game, hasn't captured anything but Venice since turn 4 and they needed two other countries to help them do that. Of course, he'll be happy to know that Morocco has also betrayed the Med Alliance to be joined by Aragon in attacking their allies rather than facing the realms that are winning. Good move, King.
So, we have the Horde obviously going to win. Who will he allow into the winner's circle with him? He's been buddy buddy with the Hungarians for a while but they seem incapable of expanding, so it's hard to see how they'll get it. The Saxons and Acquitaine are getting stronger in the West since Aragon and others chickened out from facing them and have good expansion possibilities when they stab Norway in the back. Maybe Bavaria if the Horde turns on his Teuton ally and helps them win something; KW can't win a war on his own. Maybe someone can come up with a betting line as the game seems to be entering its terminal stages.
I said I'd probably make it through to the end of the game if I didn't getting betrayed for the third time, but since that eventuality occurred I probably won't make it. Aragon's running away from Alsace, so he's probably going to give it for free to the Bavarian. Gutsy move, BDN keeping in character with the extreme cowardice you've displayed since you blundered away the game in Swabia. You all better watch your step, however, I can still make some of you bleed. Guess that's why the Hungarians and Bavarians are too afraid to even advance out of Venice even though they have a heavy advantage. Loudmouth tough guys but they don't have a pair between them.

And you don't seem able to lose a war on your own.
Hungary on turn 7 had 105 Gold Value provinces; on turn 14, he has the same 105 Gold Value provinces. Unlike Venice, he's been on the more powerful side of the alliances always with more countries with him than against him. Yet he's managed to make exactly no progress in almost 2 months in actually doing what is needed to win the game.
Originally posted by SuzianneI see no sniveling, Princess Dimwit; just a disspassionate reporting of the facts. Sniveling is your weekly complaints about how the GM is doing a terrible job because you can't seem to get your orders processed in the way you say you want, though everybody else is getting along just fine. Looks like you're down to only two annexed provinces, BTW.
Ditto in spades.
I think it's way past time you STFU and take it like a man, instead of boring us all with your sniveling.

Trying to keep things interesting; the thread was halfway down Page 2!
BTW, how's the view from Venice in the Veterans game? What turn are you on in that one?
We're in turn four.
