Thanks for the hat! Now I am a very hatty, er, happy whale.
I love how, according to the Italians, when Italians die miserably in Macedonia it's a calculated risk that didn't work out, but when Bavaria does the same in Rhaetia it's sheer stupidity.
What really matters is; which alliance will die first?

Originally posted by NordlysYou forgot that when we strategically retreat from an 11 gold province, it is moronic idiocy, but when they do it from a 32 gold province, it is military and strategic necessity and perfectly acceptable. Of course,m they also fled from Lombardy and Saluzzo.

At least we stopped and faced superior numbers at Swabia and won the day.
Originally posted by KnightWulfeI know my enemy; I knew you wouldn't attack Savoy this turn. Why should I wait for ALL your and your allies to mass to attack Savoy, esp. when I'm sure the Hungarians will send over Siege Machines to knock down the walls?? Now you can't take Savoy on your own; Aragon will have to hand it to you. Yet another example of your gross, blundering incompetence; between all my enemies in Saluzzo and Alsace I was outnumbered by almost 3:1. One battle got fought and you were routed. Brilliant.
Allow me to explain.
I thought you would make the choice of defending your own province rather than that of your ally. I thought that Savoy would be a much better place from which you could defend and take out more of my troops. I mean, a level 7 fort vs a level 12 citadel? As I expected you to make a logical move (as did my allies) I moved 10 archers ...[text shortened]... od" intent with their action. You surprised me by making an illogical choice.....nothing more.
Originally posted by KnightWulfeRepeating the Swabia lie again I see. A) Analysis of the forces available showed the Spanish would lose as you had a 20+ HP advantage and perhaps a 100 CS disadvantage; B) It required treachery sand lies to gain that victory.

The Poles and others have handed you an advantage time after time. Anyone above a submoron level with all the help of the advantages you have had would have eliminated Venice long ago. Yet here, in my death throes, I still managed to sink a fleet of yours and crush an army of yours on successive turns.
Originally posted by AThousandYoungIdiotic twaddle. Deal with the actual situations; the Macedonian invasion had a fair chance of success. 10 Archers was NOT going to defeat a 1500 CS unit in a Level 7 Fort.
No problem!

Originally posted by AThousandYoungThere was no reason to send the Archers alone into Rhaetia. If he sent his main forces in and I stood in Rhaetia, I would have been wiped out. If I had moved into Savoy and he had moved his main army AND his archers into Rhaetia, I was still trapped; troops in Rhaetia can cover Saluzzo ya know.
They would have if that 1500 CS force was in Savoy.

I'll make sure to puncture a lung or two of yours when I invade so you can't laugh any more. Will that help?
