The King of Norway is so sluggish that his enemies leave tin pans of mead about the gardens, hoping he'll drown in one of them.
My all time favorite! Kudos to the King of Norway for this gem of self-deprecation!

Venom has replaced wit. Repetition has replaced repartee. When no1 called his enemies "the Heathers" it was a beautiful Dennis Miller-esque cultural reference. Where has the comment of that quality gone?
I hope that when the Doge has married the sea for the last time, the more detached view from the popcorn gallery will be entertaining enough for him to regain his sense of humour and continue excoriating us, the infamous gang of villains in charge of this mediaeval world.

Doge--what would you be thinking now if you were Hungary?

He'd be thinking about how good a nice bowl of Venetian creamed cod would be.

Technically, one can only attack enemies (those they are at war with). One can not attack friends (those they are friendly with -- war being the supreme absence of friendliness). Sometimes we lose sight of this.

This might help some of us better understand the whole treachery and backstab thing. When someone attacks me and I am not prepared, it is a ds, but let us try to elevate it a bit beyond the level to which it has descended. Group hug?
I agree with you 100% and to be honest, I have my own opinions on where it has gone, but they would only be contested and ridiculed, so I will keep them to myself.

My apologies to all for the prattle that I have let rattle off my keyboard.

I'm sure when I'm eliminated this thread will be the typical General Forum drivel that most of the discussions not involving the actual topic of the thread have been here anyway. Then people will stop posting in it and it will die a natural death.

Hungary smugly assumes that the Bavarian is going to assist him in taking ALL of Sicily's territory, apparently out of gratitude for the help Hungary provided Bavaria. I doubt that the ending will be as happy as the Goat King believes.

EDIT: What did Morocco get for ceding you Egypt?

It is the way of all thread.

Hungary's expression is anything but smug from where I'm sitting. The cut worm forgives the plow.

Morocco would not thank me if I discussed his business in public.

See the title of the thread. Don't bother to ask me any more questions if you're going to adopt the "It's all a Big Secret" crap the Heathers do.

Don't you ever get tired of posting in a thread without ever actually being on-topic? Get lost. BDN asked me a question; I answered it. I asked him a question and "It's a Big Secret". So screw him too.

Actually no1, I have answered a number of the questions that have been asked concerning strategy and tactics and have offered to give a discertation of my specific strategy upon the completion of the game. You will forgive me, but to just hand out information about how I am doing things is stupid. The more you know about an enemy the better your chance of defeating him/her.

Unless there was a PM question....BND did not ask you anything.

Last - I was not saying a thing about you saying something, it is the constant ugly sourness and bitterness in your posts. Whehter your posts have been on topic or not, they have always been rather brash...that is just who you and how you are. Recently however, you just sound like a sore loser.
