The Great Khan is a self-made man who lives or dies by his own efforts. I do not depend on the 'kindness' of others. I am a fully non-contingent ruler. An uncaused cause, if you will, with all the logical implications that flow from that status.

A victory that was given to me through the charity of others would taste bitter in my mouth. It is better to live and die as a free man than to have to curry the favor of others, like a dog.

I do not curry favour from anyone, the alliance supports all its members jointly. And at the end of the day what you misinterpret as a lack of involvement will have been instrumental in your downfall. I look forward to that day.

You wouldn't have conquered a single province outside Iberia if your allies didn't will it to happen. But fortunately for you, you're such a bland mediocrity that you pose no threat to their security. They can count on you to follow their orders and wag your tail when they throw you a bone.

Goodbye Khan, sleep the long sleep and may horses eternally trample over your grave.

Alas, Kodran is no more. He died heroically trying to liberate Scania from Saxon occupation. Minstrels, a dirge if you please...
Akk og ve! Kong Kodran er død! :'(

Lad smerten mildnes, være skjult og glemt,
den er dog ei beseiret og forsvunden.
Den har sit leie i dit hjerte funden;
der kan den slumre, -- mens dens brod er gjemt.
Du sidder ofte stille og beklemt;
din graad vil rinde, og du ved ei grunden.
Da har din vemod mindeharpen stemt;
da drømmer smerten i din dybe blunden.

Maybe that's where he wanted to die. Maybe he had a lover there.

Where have all the good times gone?
See the changes here on every street
As time goes marching to a different beat
Moving on into the restless age
As the kids today find their feet
(Long enough to hold on)

Young enough to chase our dreams
We were captured by romantic things
Touched by love until it made us cry
How our hearts could fly without wings

Oh won't somebody tell me
Tell me where have all the good times gone
Say that you remember
Remember all those good old Four Tops songs
Won't somebody tell me
Where have all the good times gone

Stolen moments in the smoky room
Monday mornings that would come too soon
Crazy summers that would never end
When the time was spent loving you
(Yeah we had a good time)

Some things never seem to last
Ain't it funny how we missed the past
Love has changed but the clock still turns
While the flame still burns for you

They've gone away
Gone they've gone away
Gone they've gone away
They've gone away

It's hard enough to lose the game
And sad to see it played again
What makes you happy for a while
Is gonna make you smile through the rain

Won't you please tell me where have all the good times gone
