So, did anyone not get a response (or have other issues) on their turnfile this turn?

Yes, you're right; since Sicily is allied with Venice to prevent the Heathers from striking at his realm after taking Venice, he would logically only declare war on Bavaria. That way, he wouldn't actually fight the main forces that will be attacking into Italy (actually it will soon be RETREATING from Italy).

The actual answer is Sicily decla ...[text shortened]... it to the Heathers to figure out why; maybe you really can't trust the Heather next to ya.😉
Interesting title. So the Sicilians belong to you? Your little puppets are they?

The title comes from Ivanhoe in Debates; unlike KW, this game ain't the entire focus of my life.

The Republic and the Sicilians are allies and we closely coordinate our movements and strategies. Don't the Heathers do the same?? If not, you better start.

I'm guessing no1 included Siciliy so he wouldn't seem so alone (or perhaps he unintentionally let the cat out of the bag).

I suggest asking Sicily would be the best course.

As for Roum, at this moment, Venice is the only one who has drawn our ire.

You were the one whining about personal attacks, yet you seem to make one in EVERY post. Perhaps I should report you to the GM as someone in the game has childishly threatened to do.
Frankly, you can do whatever the hell you please. I am past the point of caring, because of *your* abrasive posts and propensity for being an ass.

Simple enough for you?

(Oh, and nice whining... please continue)

You've been away, Princess. Look in Istria; remember how there used to be some Bavarian archers and siege machines there? Well, look what's there now; some Venetian and Sicilian troops. You can also ask the Duke what happened; it wasn't purdy (for him).

Venice didn't raise your ire, your acting in a childish manner because of some perceived dislike for things I say on the forums. If that's how you want to play, fine but don't act like it has anything to do with the game.

You wonder why I hold the attitude I do. It's exactly this kind of pomposity. You claim to hold yourself better than everyone else, yet you make asinine statements like in this post without benefit of all the info, and then seem surprised when we laugh at you.

Keep laughing, Princess. Better yet, bring your fleet out in the open and we can all have a good chuckle after Italy sinks it.

You tell me things I already know. You presume I am an idiot.

And then you go and reverse course and tell me some other fiction.

And correct, Venice did not raise my ire. Just their leader.

Oh, I see. Italy is united now? Under *your* leadership? Hmmm, sounds like Sicily has already lost, then. Nice friendly takeover. Kind of like what might happen here in the US once China calls in all our notes.

Oh, and put your bathtub toys away and we'll see how loudly you laugh.
