How absurd! Physical torture is completely ineffective to break the will of God's Holy Prelate; you are verging on blasphemy and heresy to even suggest such a thing! The great Pope's decisions are based solely on the will of God as expressed in the Holy Scripture of CRISIS magazine.

Didn't need to. Just the threat of long poles. Popes in those days were very persuadable.
