A Circumstantial Ad Hominem is one in which some irrelevant personal circumstance surrounding the opposition is offered as evidence against their position. This fallacy is often introduced by phrases such as: "Of course, that's what you'd expect them to say." The fallacy claims that the only reason why they argue as they do is because of personal circumstances, such as standing to gain from the argument's acceptance.

My being a member of any organization is irrelevant to the inappropriate and inaccurate use of the term cult to describe that organization.

Yes I know what you have said and I have pointed out thats its a logically fallacious circumstantial ad hominem. My being a member has NO relevance to the use of the term cult to describe it and it does not matter what my circumstance is, it cannot be logically utilized as an argument for or against an inappropriate or inaccurate use of a term to describe that organization as you attempted to do. If you cannot understand why ask someone for help.

Yes, the rest of the world sees him as not very bright, extremely boring, and utterly pathetic. He looks in the mirror and sees a devilishly handsome, sharp, intelligent fellow whose every word is of scintillating brilliance.

Actually he did not say he was proud to be homophobic, you simply made that it.

I do notice a willingness on the part of anyone who opposes the practice of homosexual behavior to be labeled with this debilitating mental ailment as if their opposition is based on some kind of psychological fear. As I have argued consistently people may have a legitimate reason for opposing homosexual behavior and should not be maligned simply because they oppose it in practice.
