Certain theories have been proffered in the past. My own theory is that FMF harbors dark personality traits like sadism after all why else would you publicly go around as a self proclaimed scourger inflicting pain on people for your own enjoyment? It seems that inflicting pain on others is the only way that he can feel alive. Its sinister and creepy if you ask me.
