[EDIT] And apart from the former friends who are now at virtual 'war' with each other, I have read about 10+ posts in the past couple of weeks from people who are unhappy with the site recently and are planning on leaving. Now, go back and read the part of my post that you quoted, show me where I projected onto the entire community, and tell me, yay or nay, if there is disharmony and dissatisfaction on RHP atm. I don't see how there can be an argument here. I would have thought that a basic prerequistie of being on the Game Mods would have been good logic skills???
I wasn't projecting anything onto the entire RHP community, as forum users are but a small minority.

I´m on both sites and i am waiting to finish my games on Gk because of stalling tactics from players who go on vacation at the end of a time period and the clock resets to the original time. stalling the game deliberately and GK does nothing about it. RHP is right to ban GK on its site completely, come into my company with a poster of the competition and I´ll chuck it straight out the window!

And this thread, and pretty much 60% of others are why I got on 2Bit's back so much recently. I would place 99.9% of the disharmony in the forums at the moment at his door. I fcuking hate this place now. People who you would have had a laugh with before, are now jumping down your throat about the smallest thing. I've been through this before, when the ...[text shortened]... fortunate that the loudest, most bullying members seem to be the ones shaping the site atm.

It's not much of a consolation, but every internet forum or mailing list I have been on has gone through some nasty flame wars. It almost seems to be a law. Luckily most forums and mailing lists survive them, and sometimes something good comes out of them.

Yes, I know I'm one of the unwashed non-subs here, but can we all just get back to playing some chess?
(and if you must know, given a choice between GK and here, I'd subscribe to this site, since it is obviously a cut above GK. I'm only on GK for more chess games since there's not anything else there to draw me in, unlike here. If I was Russ, I wouldn't worry so much about GK being discussed here... I think everyone agrees that GK is an inferior product to begin with.)
