Yes.

I can show various examples of my work which have been removed which could in all seriousness not offend or hurt any thirteen year old (but that's the argument used).

This demotivates me. And I write less because of it.

So, that makes me wonder how to regain motivasion within the current settings and limitations. And I just ain't finding it.
Have you tried starting a private, unmoderated forum for your writings?

If you haven't even tried this simple and easy solution then you have no reason to blame the site admins and their "rules" for your own stubbornness and laziness.

Try it, Shav, and stop being so stubborn.

Um... wrong place wrong time is FUN.

What do you expect to happen to things in the wrong place and wrong time?

Geesh!

Please start an Abba thread... I'm tired of explaining the obvious.

Or start his own club for those interested in creative writing and who want to share their work. There's certainly no shortage of creative types here.

I really don't see what the big deal is.

That's probably reason enough to start a club...

Tell you what, next week I'll have both hands again and I'll give a literary club some serious thought.

It might be cool to have a safe haven where people can experiment and enjoy positive constructive feedback.

It wouldn't change anything I think about the effects of moderation/censorship on creativity...

I don't disagree that censorship stunts creativity, I'm just confused why you're so adamant that your work appear to the crappy RHP General Forum population. This place is garbage. A unmoderated private forum full of like-minded people is much more conducive to creativity.

That's a self created environment, with a specific purpose and a selected audience. That's the difference.
