It's not what moderation can do to you, it's what you can do to moderation
- Shavixmir -

All hail the TOS and the TOSsers who love to finger-wag, whine and betray; traitors to free speech, back-stabbers to rationality and slaves to Big Brother's false Christian morality.
God damn, my brothers, you do make me proud!

So, what has moderation done for you lately?

Well, we have posts on:
- hairstyle
- harestyle (and hundreds more of these hilarious pun threads imitating other equally amusing original threads)
- She has legs
- Wolfie's problem
- Favourite childhood foods
- top ten films, top ten movies, top ten comedy films, top ten action films from December 1989 to March 1990, etc. Ad infinitum

And creativity wept...

Well:
- We have #% instead of hi
- We have faeces instead of s#%t
- We have violence, hatred and verbal assaults instead of sex, drugs and rock & roll
- We can quote Hitler and George Bush, but not Mark Twain or Agatha Christie.

And Billy Shakespeare balled his eyes out...

We have:
- Humour being replaced by censorship
- Spontaniousness being replaced by fear of a ban
- Christians dictating what's right, just and allowed

And Bill Hicks died on stage for our sins...

What we no longer have are:
- Creativity forcing us to rethink our perspectives and opening our minds to other views than our own
- top ten threads on sexual positions which hurt your knees
- stories of woe and embarrassment
- amusing anecdotes
- limmericks
- fun

Amusingly enough I can close my final summary on this matter with my MSN slogan:
Tum Podem Extulit Horridulum

Not because I can, but because they don't understand it... Go figure...

MACHINATION, n.
The method employed by one's opponents in baffling one's open and honorable efforts to do the right thing.

So plain the advantages of machination
It constitutes a moral obligation,
And honest wolves who think upon't with loathing
Feel bound to don the sheep's deceptive clothing.
So prospers still the diplomatic art,
And Satan bows, with hand upon his heart.

Teenage Angst
(Placebo)

Shine the headlight, straight into my eyes.
Like the roadkill, I'm paralysed.
You see through my disguise

At the drive-in, double feature,
pull the lever, break the fever
and say your last goodbyes.

Since I was born I started to decay.
Now nothing ever ever goes my way

One fluid gesture, like stepping back in time.
Trapped in amber, petrified.
I'm still not satisfied

Airs and social graces, elocution so divine.
I'll stick to my needle, and my favourite waste of time,
both spineless and sublime.

Since I was born I started to decay.
Now nothing ever - ever goes my way.

Y'know, if everyone exercised simple common courtesy, there'd be no need for any censorship. Just a thought...

That's one of the greatest misconceptions about me... erasing 'everything'.

I erased one post today (the person I told agreed when I said why I erased their post)

Other than that, I have zero in the past month or so sans perhaps moving a thread from general to culture or from help to general.
