There's nothing embarassing about Bjork, she's one of the finest female artists ever.

Bjork - I remember you.

Edit. Also, when alone and nobody is near, I listen to Barbra Streisand.

No, I don't follow much music when it comes to great musicians who won't give up making music.

I prefer his older "fight rock" stuff.

If she'd gotten rid of some of her whale music in debut, id've never stopped listening to it

"Freedom", by George Michael. Heard it the other day and remembered how much I like it. Then felt really gay and cut myself a little.

That's because you haven't got drunk listening to "Praying for Time" while getting your nails done 😉

that might have been true up to homogenic, but then it got just embarrassing. haven't heard the new one yet though, but I'm a bit afraid it will be somewhere around the level of "where is the fish?" sketch by monty python, and the passive embarrassment will blow my head right off.

Lightweight. Listening to Bjork is like being told to walk across a ricketty old rope bridge, it's a long way down and you feel completely unsettled on your way across. Some people may even have to turn back, or be rendered unable to proceed through fear and just cling to the handrail sobbing gently to themselves.

Some don't even bother trying, but for those that make it to the other side, Eldorado awaits!

yea, and metrosexuality is for the manly men who are not afraid to show their feminine side.

This reminds me of a story from my high school years.

I went to a high school that had both commuters and boarding students. The dorms were set up as suites; two kids per room, with an adjoining bathroom.

Some rich kids had their own room.

Andy, this guy I knew (rich, and had a room to himself) really hated the kid in the other room (also rich and the sole occupant), because the kid didn't bathe frequently, was a complete slob, and played Indian music on his stereo at odd hours of the night.

Andy was a boarder, but his family lived locally (the school styles boarding as an "experience" that all student's families should pony up for). So he often went home on the weekends. The kid, on the other hand, was an international student whose parents actually lived in India. He stayed at school.

After one particularly angering episode of inconsiderate behavior by the kid, on a Friday afternoon, just before he goes home, Andy locks the suite door on his side. Then, he puts George Michael's "Faith" in the CD player, sets the thing for song repeat, and cranks the stereo up. Locks the rest of the doors, and leaves for the weekend.
